Nepal Buddha Boy

Human photosynthesizing to obtain energy!!! In 2007, the Discovery Channel produced a documentary titled "The Boy With Divine Powers". The documentary was unable to do away with the theories that Ram was being fed at night. The film crew was required to stay outside the guarded barbed wire fence and their camera's night vision could not pick up a signal where Ram sat at the base of a tree during their non stop recording over four days.

Nepal Buddha Boy 'sighted again'

More recently, the Discovery Channel did record Bomjon's meditation on a 96-hours non-stop video, and for those total of 4 days, Bomjon didn't eat, drink, or move. Doctors interviewed in the documentary where stunned, and noted that for an explanation of Ram's activities, the science textbooks must be rewritten. The documentary was later packed in the special show of 'The Boy with Divine Power'.Download link

A missing Nepalese teenager popularly known as Buddha Boy has reappeared after nine months, eyewitnesses say.
See Ram Bahadur Bomjon

Thousands of people are thronging a jungle in southern Nepal to catch a glimpse of Ram Bahadur Bomjan, 17.

The boy's meditation and apparent 10-month fast attracted global attention before he vanished in March.

Bomjan's followers say he is an incarnation of Lord Buddha who was born in Lumbini, in present-day Nepal, more than 2,500 years ago.

Eyewitnesses said that a large number of people had reached the jungle in Bara district to get a glimpse of him.

The boy attracted international attention earlier this year when he was reported to have meditated for months without food.

But there has been no information about his whereabouts over the last nine months.

Eyewitnesses said that he had become thinner. The boy told the local reporters that he lived on herbs, but did not take other food.

He also carried a sword. Newspapers quoted him as saying that he kept the weapon for self-defence: "Even Buddha was forced to arrange for his security himself," he was quoted as saying.

His followers say he has been meditating without food or water and is immune to fire and snake bites.

These claims have not been independently verified. Scientists were unable to examine the boy as his followers said it would disturb his meditation.

Buddha Boy Update: Ram Bahadur Bomjon Now Meditating in Pit
Posted on March 28th, 2007 by UWB

28 March: Ram Bahadur Bomjon, popularly known as the “Buddha Boy”, who stole the limelight after spending months in meditation, reportedly without food and water, has been found again, meditating inside a pit dug underground at Ratanpuri recently. Bomjon, who had started meditation under a Pipal tree in the village, had gone missing since March 11, 2006, and again reappeared on December 25 the same year. According to Inspector Rameshwor Yadav of the Area Police Post Nijgadh, Bomjon was inside the bunker-like square ditch of seven feet.

“We call it bunker,” he said, adding, “Although it’s seven feet deep, there is no lack of oxygen inside,” said Yadav, who claimed to have seen him going inside it from close range Monday (Mar 26). A police team, under the command of Yadav, had gone to the place after word of Bomjon being on underground meditation spread in the area. “His face was clean and hair was combed well,” Yadav said. According to him, “the bunker” has been cemented from all sides with roof of tiles. Even as frequent “hide and seek” were continuing, some locals recently spotted him in the local forest on 9th March. After his mysterious disappearance last year, his “disciples” had claimed that he had gone in search of a peaceful place for the purpose, as thousands of curious people began visiting him daily then. However, a few others had even termed it a ploy of his followers to earn popularity and money.

Indra Lama, a local, who has been deployed as caretaker for him since he began meditation, said the “bunker” was prepared as per Bomjon’s order. “After granting audience a week ago, he expressed his desire to meditate inside the ground; so we built it,” he said.By Upendra Lamichhane

Related case:
A 80-year old Hindu brahmin, claiming to not have eaten or drunk anything since 16, is tested by medical science. For ten days, his neurosurgeon keeps him in an isolated ward 24/7 observed by cameras - never leaving him. Even when he showers, the amount of water given to him is measured before and after use to prevent any foul play. No toilet breaks are needed. The medical team is astonished to find that whenever urine builds up in his bladder, they quickly just "pop" and disappear without a trace! Despite all forms of checks, scans, secret cameras, secret spot-checks, everything that could be thought of - the medical team, skeptical at first, eventually is forced to conclude that he is not a hoax - surviving at least 10 days without food nor water. The neurosurgeon-in-charge suggests that the brahmin is literally photosynthesizing to obtain energy - much to the shock and disagreement of other scientists - that we, carbon-based humans absolutely just cannot make food from the sun! Taking in every single factor, a nutritionist ultimately concludes that even with the smallest calorie requirement a day, BB MUST have some form of nutrition source. Anyway, however such meditators may be taking their energy from, the lamas interviewed seem to suggest some method of "eating from the breath" where he directly absorbs and uses the elements found in the air.
